I have been trying to use the map to plan for a trip for the coming season but I am not having much luck, the camp site icons are not responding to my mouse clicks and are not giving me any information. Is this just me or is the site not working correctly?

    It's just you ;-)

Site works for me, but your bug report is minimal
    a) what campsites are you clicking on?
    b) what's your OS & browser?
    c) have you tried restarting browser, reloading cache?

Thanks nootka, none of the campsites work for me but now that I know it's me I can figure out what B and C means and see if it helps :)

    Rob,

Here is a simpler question: Are you, perchance, using a Chromebook or maybe a tablet, such as a Samsung unit?

Hah. Not a computer nerd, here. Maybe something to do with no left click vs. right click? I bet nootka knows.

sorry Dave, don't know anything about macs

I concentrate on Linux (& yes I know Macs use Unix).

I'm not going to spend a lot of time on a "my car won't work" kind of report.
    Been there, done that.

It's a problem with the BC Marine Trails website, I'm pretty sure.
I just fired up the iMac (OS X Yosemite) and:
iMac and Chrome- BCMTN Map works properly
iMac and Firefox- BCMTN Map not working - the on-screen controls are missing and nothing happens when I click on a campsite or other 'feature'.
iMac and Safari- BCMTN Map not working - the on-screen controls are missing and nothing happens when I click on a campsite or other 'feature'.
I don't think I've ever visited BCMTN with the iMac, so I doubt it's a cache or settings issue.

Win7 and Chrome- BCMTN Map works properly
Win7 and Firefox- BCMTN Map works properly
Win7 and InternetExplorer- BCMTN Map not working - the on-screen controls are missing and nothing happens when I click on a campsite or other 'feature'.

So, an email to the BCMTN web manager might be the next step.

    Hello All.
I have taken a look at the issue and updated the map to fix a small bug that affects IE and safari. there is still an issue for IE version <= 8.
Please clear your cache and try using the map again. And let me know of any other issues you encounter (I'll pay attention to this thread).

    Thanks for the bug report.

    Nick

P.S. I'm currently looking into that other issue with IE, and hope to have that sorted out shortly.
