This boat was laid-up by Clipper in July 2015 and has spent most of its life in the Broughton Archipelago. Excellent stability, easy to carry and launch. Enough cargo space for days of back-country camping. I am 6'2" and can lay down in the cockpit. Comes with a full skirt that I received at discount when I purchased the boat because it is slightly damaged. I've only used the skirt on two occasions. This is a rad boat. I spent years wanting this boat before I was able to ask Clipper to put one together for me. I don't want to part with the boat, but my paddling partner has an injury that will prohibit the amount and distance of paddling that we're used to. $3,250. Includes: - 17'9", 56 lb. Clipper Sea-1 Canoe/Kayak Hybrid (decked canoe). 9'5" cockpit. Full skirt. Rudder. Sliding seat (with pad) to adjust trim for wave/cargo conditions. - Joe O'Blenis hand-carved 89" Greenland-style paddle (https://www.joeowoodshop.com/) - Dolly - Foam pads for car-top carrying. No cargo straps included. From: http://www.clippercanoes.com/sea-1/ "An ideal wilderness sea-touring canoe/kayak hybrid. The Sea-1 can be paddled with either a canoe or kayak paddle. Features a large cockpit, 9.5′ in length, which provides easy access to cargo. With a pronounce flare in the bow, the Sea-1 will rise and shed waves in even the most adverse of conditions. The V-bottom hull design provides excellent tracking. The Sea-1 has built-in flotation in the bow and the stern. Other features include rudder (standard), molded plastic adjustable seat. A nylon spraydeck is available as an option. This canoe was paddled by Joe O'Blenis from the coast of BC to the St. Lawrence River. Read about Joe's trip here: http://www.clippercanoes.com/cross-canada-solo-canoe-expedition/" This particular Sea-1 comes with a two-piece Greenland-style paddle carved by Joe O'Blenis himself."
