I know I could stand to lose a few pounds, but to be called a "crowd". Ouch. 8O
Hard to keep straight who is here and who is there. I am sure if we are looking for just one to be a crowd I could fit the bill.
I might have another paddler who is interested.
Darren and I are here; Dan, Steve and Andy are there. But being here is better than being there - so be here!
Should be a good sized group, I think. Looking forward to meeting people, and putting faces to names (I bet Darren looks funny) 8)
Call me dopey, but maybe we should start a new thread so it's easy for people to know about the Friday paddle.....
I might smell kinda funny too!
Hey Dopey, what's left to talk about in a new thread? Hasn't everything that needs to be said, already been said? j/k
Looking forward to joining the crowd on Friday night.
My regular Friday paddling partner needs to get out early so I will be on the water at 17:00 and meet back at the beach at 19:30 for another go around.
I hope to be able to make it down on Friday evening too. Where is the south bay launching area?
Go to the new development on the east side of the Gorge near the Selkirk Trestle. We put it from the rowing club dock which is right in front of the South Bay Pub
Thanks. I have put in there before.
The forecast looks pretty good for the Friday evening paddle....gonna be fun
I went down to the harbor in my kayak yesterday around 6pm and caught the Russian ship coming into port. The masts were lined with sailor and they were singing some Russian sea shanties.
Quite a buys harbor with positioning of tall ships, sightseers of all types both on land and water, plane landings and the arrival of the ferries.
Looking forward to getting out tonight.
Everyone remember to bring lights......I'm sure that the Harbour Patrol/Police will be out in full force 8O
I'm pumped! See you guys later today!
OK, I'll be ready to pick you up from the ferry you're planning on missing   Don't forget your paddle!
Geez... miss a couple of ferries, forget a paddle or two, and the world never forgets. 8O
Paddles are good, but don't forget your boat
The cannon battle starts at 7 pm
Hmmm... any idea how long it goes for, Darren? Dan and I will likely miss it (especially if he forgets his paddle)
It was in todays TC
Just says starts at appx 7 pm. Mile zero to Clover point.
